I love the Wall. It has the smoothest steepest swell on the river. Today may not have been the most wind I have ever sailed in, nor the biggest swell, but man it was one of the most fun days windsufing ever.
Big air and looong swell rides were the order of the day. I swear I must have ridden 1/2 a mile on one swell (at least it felt that way!). Turning, jybing, slashing time after time. Then a few reaches upwind to do it all again...
Update: I just added a flash movie with some more pics from the Wall. Click here if you want to see it.

Yesterday we spend the day at the Tygh Valley Indian rodeo. It's a small event mainly locals, contestants and their families. I think I was the only person there (male or female) wearing flip-flops!
We had a great time. We saw barrel racing (above), bull riding, steer roping and an event I'm not sure the name of where teams of 3 have to catch a wild horse, put a saddle on it and a member of the team has to ride it around the arena once. Actually, this was the most exciting event as 6-8 teams compete at the same time! Lots of action...

Spring is here but the water is still cold. Leia is wearing my wetsuit vest and Lillys socks. Everything is so big on her that the only warming effect is psychological!
